GEAPS Comes to Kansas City

Kelly-Hill Company exhibited at last week’s GEAPS (The Grain Elevator and Processing Society) Exchange conference in Kansas City. This conference gives professionals in the grain industry from around the world an opportunity to interact. We also held a drawing for three $100 Visa gift cards – the winners were notified last week.

 

Kelly-Hill Company serves grain industry clients by maintaining and constructing their rail infrastructure. In the United States, of all the items transported by rail, grain makes up approximately 5%.

KC Contractors ExpoThe team at Kelly-Hill Company has had a great start to the Fall season, and recently took the opportunity to participate in the Kansas City Contractors Expo.

 

Michael Steele, Director of Business Operations and Marketing, Bill Broekemeier, Business Development Manager, and Ed Conlon, Project Manager and Estimator spent their Wednesday at Bartle Hall, manning the Kelly-Hill Company booth. Overall, the Expo was a great way to meet new people and other contractors while engaging in construction topics.

AREMA Conference

Last week, we attended the railway engineering industry’s largest conference: AREMA. Kelly-Hill AREMA sponsorshipCompany supported this conference as a silver sponsor. It was great to see the industry’s leaders and up-and-coming engineers all in one place to discuss current topics, learn what’s new, and where the industry is headed. Next year AREMA will partner with other railway organizations to co-host the Railway Interchange conference in Minneapolis in 2015. We look forward to seeing everyone there again next year.
