Days without a lost time injury
Days without an OSHA Recordable

Every job shows who we are. We deliver quality, safety, and craftsmanship in every service, repair, maintenance call, and build.

We want to highlight the people that make Kelly-Hill Company such a great place to work. Today we’ll meet our Superintendent, Paul Matney.

It’s always great when the weather is wonderful on the railroad. Kelly-Hill Company was hard at work today wrapping up 4,400 track foot rip out and replacement.

Kelly-Hill Company completed some rehabilitation work on the Kansas City Zoo train tracks, which carries patrons on a train throughout the Zoo property. The project included removing and replacing approximately 330 linear feet of 20# curve rail on the high side of the track. We manually lined and leveled the tracks in this area and on 520 track feet at a secondary location. Lining and leveling ensures a safe and smooth ride.

Kelly-Hill Company exhibited at last week’s GEAPS (The Grain Elevator and Processing Society) Exchange conference in Kansas City. This conference gives professionals in the grain industry from around the world an opportunity to interact. We also held a drawing for three $100 Visa gift cards – the winners were notified last week.

Kelly-Hill Company serves grain industry clients by maintaining and constructing their rail infrastructure. In the United States, of all the items transported by rail, grain makes up approximately 5%.

Kelly-Hill Company is honored to be awarded the First Place Award Winner in the Subcontracting Division 150,001 – 300,000 work hours by The Builders’ Association. We will receive our award on March 2, 2017 at the 10th Annual Builders’ Association Safety Excellence Awards Program.

Safety is extremely important to us. We’re excited to be recognized as an organization for our safety practices, which is only possible with our employees’ commitment to safety.
