We were proud to play in TranSystems‘ annual charity golf tournament on May 5, 2017 that benefited Racing For Kids, a group that uses the popularity of motorsports to bring awareness and funding to child health institutions around the world.

Kelly-Hill Company completed some rehabilitation work on the Kansas City Zoo train tracks, which carries patrons on a train throughout the Zoo property. The project included removing and replacing approximately 330 linear feet of 20# curve rail on the high side of the track. We manually lined and leveled the tracks in this area and on 520 track feet at a secondary location. Lining and leveling ensures a safe and smooth ride.
We may have won the Silver Level Safe Contractor of the Year 2016 award earlier this year, but the plaque has just arrived at Kelly-Hill Company’s office. Last month our Director of Business Operations and Marketing, Michael Steele, accepted our First Place Award in the Subcontracting Division 150,001-300,000 work hours by The Builders’ Association. We’re honored to accept this safety excellence award.
Kelly-Hill Company exhibited at last week’s GEAPS (The Grain Elevator and Processing Society) Exchange conference in Kansas City. This conference gives professionals in the grain industry from around the world an opportunity to interact. We also held a drawing for three $100 Visa gift cards – the winners were notified last week.
Kelly-Hill Company serves grain industry clients by maintaining and constructing their rail infrastructure. In the United States, of all the items transported by rail, grain makes up approximately 5%.
Kelly-Hill Company is honored to be awarded the First Place Award Winner in the Subcontracting Division 150,001 – 300,000 work hours by The Builders’ Association. We will receive our award on March 2, 2017 at the 10th Annual Builders’ Association Safety Excellence Awards Program.

Kelly-Hill Company recently completed construction of a 13,854 TF loop track for the American Silica production facility in Black Rock, AR. The project also included construction of nine No. 11 turnouts. We enjoyed working with American Silica on this project; here’s what they had to say:
“Kelly-Hill recently completed the track construction (approximately 13,000′) for our unit train capable frac sand processing and load out facility located in Black Rock, AR. The work performed and product produced by their organization, was always done so in a professional manner emphasizing safety, quality, and efficiency. Kelly-Hill Company is slated to begin work on a second loop track at this facility in 2017.
