Every job shows who we are. We deliver quality, safety, and craftsmanship in every service, repair, maintenance call, and build.

We were notified that we received the Silver Level Safe Contractor of the Year 2016 by the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association and Railway Track & Structures.

It’s an honor that recognizes Contractor members of NRC with strong workplace safety programs. Kelly-Hill Company continually keeps safety at the forefront of its business. Safety is extremely important to us. We have dedicated training sessions, daily safety meetings, and tool box talks. We are thrilled to be recognized for our safety practices!

Kelly-Hill Company recently took part in the renovation project for the historic Eads Bridge in St. Louis.  Working with the project’s general contractor St. Louis Bridge Construction Co., our team re-decked Mains 1 and 2, for a total of 3,000 feet across the bridge. A ceremony was held for the completion of this four-year project, which is the first complete rehabilitation done on the 142-year-old bridge.

The Eads Bridge opened on July 4, 1874 to freight railroad traffic. It debuted as the world’s first steel-trussed bridge and the first in the US to use pneumatic caissons in the construction of its piers. The Eads Bridge is now used for automobile and light rail traffic.

Other notable firms that participated in this project are TranSystems, who acted as the design engineering firm, and Modjeski and Masters, who performed project management oversight.

Kelly-Hill Company recently hit the links and participated in the 8th Annual CDI and D & I RR Golf Outing at Brookings Country Club in South Dakota.

Our Project Manager and Estimator, Ed Conlon, and Director of Business Operations and Marketing, Michael Steele teamed with Progress Rail’s Ed Saam and North Shore Track’s Josh Collins for the day.

The hosts of the annual tournament are outstanding members of the rail Industry. D & I RR is a railroad subsidiary of L. G. Everist and operates a line from Dell Rapids, SD, to Sioux City, IA. CDI is a civil engineering and land surveying company that operates out of Brookings, SD, and specializes in transportation engineering.

The course and weather was fantastic, and we would like to thank CDI and D & I RR for holding the tournament. We enjoyed being in the company of exceptional rail industry professionals, and look forward to attending this golf outing again next year.
