Railroad Construction and Maintenance Services

Since its inception. Kelly-Hill Company has completed projects of all shapes and sizes. We've built main line track for the Kansas City Terminal Railway, Kansas City Southern, Gateway Western Railroad, and a high-speed coal yard for Union Pacific in Dupo, IL. We built a new coal loop for Kansas City Power & Light's Hawthorn Station and reconstructed 4 miles of track for the Northeast Kansas & Missouri Railroad after the '93 flood.

Numerous industries have enlisted Kelly-Hill to construct their spur line for new facilities. We provide production surfacing crews equipped with 6700 tampers with laser liner and curve computers and Knox Kershaw single pass plows with directional broom boxes. We also provide production tie and rail gangs for our shortline customers.
